System Tips You Can Use
You can now create, change, and track parts claim information in ERA for any adjustments you request from the manufacturer. This could be for parts that were damaged, shorted, or shipped in error on previously received parts orders.
- Create parts claims in ERA executable 2092. You must include a reason code for each part. The reason code explains why a part number is on the parts claim.
- A standard set of reason codes is already established. However, you can add user-defined reason codes in screen 2091.

- After the claim information is sent to the manufacturer, you can modify the claim status to Submitted in screen 2093.
- When notification about the disposition of the claim is received, you can change the status to Approved, Rejected, or Closed using 2093.
This recently added feature in ERA will assist you in managing parts claims more effectively.
